Embed YouTube videos into PowerPoint slides with Authorstream Desktop

Authorstream Desktop is a Microsoft PowerPoint Add-on that allow you to search and insert YouTube videos and images directly from Microsoft Bing search results into your PowerPoint slides without having to leave PowerPoint. It installs as a "ribbon" in PowerPoint and provides a search box option, which can be used to search images and videos.

The add-in also provides an "insert by URL" option, which fetches the specified image or video for easy insertion in PPT slides. After a presentation has been created, it can be uploaded online to authorSTREAM, which plays it as a "slideshow mashup" and provides multiple sharing features. All in all, this PowerPoint addon was created for any author who wants to easily and quickly create rich media presentations.
